The application for the fourth annual Henrietta Lacks Health Equity Case Competition is now open and will close at 11:59pm ET on January 19, 2025. Selected teams will be notified on January 24, 2025. The case will be sent to teams on February 6, 2025.

 

Teams of 3-5 graduate students will come together to source innovative solutions to address pervasive health disparities in areas such as health coverage, chronic health conditions, mental health, and mortality in underserved populations. At least one member of the team must be an MBA student. Multiple teams from the same university may apply.

Preference will be given to teams that can present in person, but special exceptions will be allowed for international teams who may not be able to travel to Ann Arbor. Unfortunately, we cannot reimburse or compensate travel or lodging.

To apply for the Henrietta Lacks Case Competition, teams should identify a primary contact and only need to submit one application for consideration.

 

Individuals may apply; however, preference will be given to applications submitted as a team.
